Highfield Level 3 International Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection

The Level 3 Effective Auditing and Inspection qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge necessary to conduct audits and inspections effectively. It is suitable for individuals working with food safety positions such as food safety team leaders / member or employees who conduct internal audits within food departments, such as Persons in Charge (PIC). The same principles apply within other industries such as those dealing with consumer products, hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceuticals, warehousing, and retail sectors. Especially where those involved in the verification, auditing, or inspection processes are required to carry out either internal audits or external supplier audits.

This audit and inspection course will provide learners with both practical and theoretical knowledge on how to the processes work and the differences between them. Learners will have the opportunity to focus on the scope required and produce checklists to cover these areas ensuring that they stay within the given criteria.

This will help them understand the purpose of audit or inspection and the role of the auditor or inspector. Learning how to methodically approach the planning of audit or inspections and how to collect and analyze data will give them a better understand of how to produce a clear audit report with highlighted corrective actions.
