The Level 1 food safety qualification is a 4 hour course designed to prepare learners or those in low-risk roles that involve some element of food handling, including those who work in stock/storerooms. Learners gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the cleaning, storage, preparation, processing, packing and handling of food.
